James Valentine

James has been clubbing and mixing for over 20 years. He is a passionate, experienced and versatile DJ who is equally happy playing early, peak time or late night harder sounds. James worked with Ben Steven’s on his first release ‘Extermination’ on fireball records and has since had a string of releases and having music featured on the huge In an Ideal world 5,6 & 7album series. James has released music on Fireball, High-Five, Kimara and cheeky tracks with debut solo track ‘Be Myself’ being played up and down the country.

James was lucky to have the opportunity to close Summer gathering 2017 for Ideal and has since played for Juicy, TDV pre-party, euphoria pre-party and Fierce. James has mixed an episode of essential Hard House which was released by Vicious circle. James also had the honour of closing the lost weekend reunion in Nottingham representing the legendary hard house brand fierce, Playing a closing 90 min set following one of his heroes in DJ Ilogik. In November 2019, James was announced as the new Juicy resident.

James was announced as a resident for new night Kandi in January 2020 and will be playing at their upcoming events. During the lockdowns of 2020, James was able to stay busy and played a number of live sets for brands such as Juicy, Resurrection, Hi-Five, Atomic and Kandi.

James also played in the Tidy 25 DJ competition and will be playing at the legendary tidy weekender in July 2021″
